To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Ita,this is strangely fascinating. I suppose it makes sense we get linked to so often, but it's weird seeing it all spelled out like that.

And when were we linked to from the Guardian? Wow.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

I don't think that's all necessarily linking, is it? It's just the last page someone was on before they came here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's linking -- if you just do Ctrl+O and type in the URL, it doesn't list as a referrer.

The Guardian - may have been their boards.

If I only had a brain...

Okay, I have a Message center with no Natter or Bitches threads again.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It's linking -- if you just do Ctrl+O and type in the URL, it doesn't list as a referrer.

What if you type over the URL in the address window? I'm only doubting you because the guardian page in question is a story on Iraq: [link]

I wonder if it is like my disappearing Canada problem..... (I've also lost the UK. It's very odd.)

Doesn't work that way in IE. If it does for other browsers, that's a violation of W3 specs.

Betsy, when it happens again, can you e-mail me the HTML of the page?

If I only had a brain...

Will do.
