Yeah, I ended up doing that because better than nothing, but basically the button n the menu bar that used to be “tap this and get to bookmarks/favorites” now requires multiple clicks to get there and I find that annoying AF

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'm often amazed by the "upgrades" and "improvements" that require extra work to get something done. sigh .... And my office computer forces them on us on a regular basis.

So google bookmarks are gone! Not chrome bookmarks but the google bookmarks that could be accessed from any browser by logging into the google account. I know there was a notice sent out that this was happening, but I have no memory of receiving it, and I had so much stuff on there. I suppose there is no way to access them one more time long enough to download the information?

Tom, thanks, I didn't see Google bookmarks there specifically, but I'll keep looking around to see what I can find.

Argh! My chromecast was having trouble broadcasting, so I decided to switch it from my personal router to the Comcast router to see if that worked better. Somehow, when I disconnected it from the personal router, it stopped working, and my Firestick plugged into the same TV is also not working (as in, when I try to switch to either of them, there is no signal, but the TV recognizes that they are there, because I have the option to select them for input). Thoughts?

The routers are fine. When I select the input for the Chromecast or the Firestick, I get a message that there is no input. i'm about to start plugging and unplugging again.

Always a good step. Hope it worked!

Nope. The TV recognizes that the Chromecast and Firestick are there, because when I removed them, they didn't show up on the "input" screen. It recognizes that the firestick is there enough that I can use the firestick remote to turn the tv on and off/volume, but isn't getting a signal for some reason.

Also, cable/internet is out/having issues (posting with phone). Maybe that's the problem? But it wasn't out last night, so I don't know! guess I'll watch something on TiVo. Feh.
