As the only daughter of a football coach-pretty easily. Often it only takes a glance from a player to get to "Stop dating my daughter!" usually with the word punk thrown in.
But I thought he already
had his tacit approval.
I suppose the promo is doing its job since now I'm all
what could Matt have possibly done to get that reaction?
Tune in next week!
ETA: Also, loved Landry this episode. Members Only!?!
I dunno. I'm kind of in favor of
reminding people that there are still displaced people whenever the opportunity presents itself. It may also seem not so out of place to me since our org just helped people who'd lost FEMA benefits get them back.
megan,
could be anything from him overhearing other players talk about girls. Having any sort of "evidence" that Matt's thinking about sex (including looking at linoleum).
I did love his
"I talk to my daughter a lot" tonight.
FNL: I loved
this episode -- so much Landry and Matt - and that sad first date. And they actually made me like Buddy Garrity. I didn't think that was possible. And more Smash backstory.
It now occurs to me that it is probably a good thing my dad gave up coaching football before I arrived at my prep school. Although, from what I learned later, the fact that he had the power to assign people to breakfast dish crew also served as quite the deterrent!
Oh, and did
Landry tell Coach Taylor that his name is "Landrew"
?
Sumi, I know! The two characters I didn't really like before tonight were
Buddy and Landry. I still don't love Smash, but now that he is getting more development maybe that will change.
Sumi, the coach called him Lance, and he corrected him that it was Landry. At least, that's what the CC said when I replayed it.
I need Buffista opinions on a Xmas gift for a earrings-loving almost-14-year-old girl (niece). She loves dangly earrings the best, and I love these two, but they are about $9 more than I'd like to spend all told, and I'm worried she won't appreciate them as much as I would, because she's more into quantity than quality at this point.
