Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh, Jesse, your eyes were working undertime.

  • There's no snowblowers in fucking Hollywood, Cali-fucking-fornia? And the best thing to do is engage a bunch of staffers who work for a live, weekly, 90 minute show in making coconut shavings? (Good thing 20 years passed without any need to have falling snow in a scene, right?)
  • The FCC thing. Just, damn. I'm willing to suspend disbelief about them going after the network for a dirty word. Just increasingly annoyed that not a single solitary fifteen minute period can pass in this show without talking about politics.
  • One of the most powerful women in Hollywood finds it unremarkable to take one of her employees in to see her va-jay-jay. Just...think about doing that for a second with your boss or subordinate.
  • You're right about the New Orleans thing. That tribute was eye-poppingly bad, over a year late and on a comedy show.

The Santa sketch was inspired, however.

Tonight is rerun hell, so maybe people have a) gone to bed early or b) watching movies so no commercial breaks or c) watching the past month's worth of tivo or d) out having lives away from the tv tether.

Me, I'm just cursing rerunitis and trying not to curse ex-cousin for upsetting the family, because that won't be healthy for his son and my aunt wants a unified front of healthy support, not a bunch of ex-cousin slamming.

There's a new Dirty Jobs on tonight!

It's only 13 minutes into it, and I've already been reduced to tears of laughter twice ( Mike vs. the hose! Concrete guy's thong! ). Good ep!

I'm rewatching VM but contemplating a complete catch up of Heroes. Flexeril is making me sleepy, though so that's probably not an option.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know, bon bon, I know. But I was willing to go with it! I can watch from a certain remove. But NOT THAT FAR REMOVED. That sketch was genuinely funny, though.

Are they rerunning Heroes?

Oh, also, there's a recent article about Kristin Chenoweth in the Times where she talks about how it's funny seeing Harriet do things she wouldn't do.

I'm not sure. I know there is a repeat scheduled this Friday but I've got them all tifauxed so I really need to catch up and get them off my DVR.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm embarrassed to say the NOLA thing worked on me, but for someone so devoted to bloodshed I can be soft sometimes.

Aaah. I was thinking of trying it out. I watched part of the homecoming episode with my nephew and the writing seemed a bit clunky, but I figured it might be the type of show where you need to get to know the characters first.
