I really am sorry. I get the Go Fug Yourself RSS feed and I clicked before I knew it was about Carrot Top, and then I looked, and... then I just didn't want to suffer alone.
It was the lower picture that did me in. I was prepared for general Carrot Top fug. I wasn't prepared for so much exposure.
I'd better go look at the frackles link.
. I put in George R. R. Martin's A Game of Thrones and the unsuggester produced a list comprised almost entirely of books on the Bible and Christian theology.
That's what I got when I put in Persuasion.
I put in Daniel Quinn's Ishmael and it told me to avoid books on knitting and/or by Tolkein.
Interesting.
ION, it's cold today and it's going to be a trifle warmer tomorrow but then on Thursday it's going to be REALLY COLD again.
I put in Catch-22 and got Vogue Knitting (which I own and enjoy).
Oh you're right Sumi. It might get down below 50 this week! brr!
Seriously though- how sick am I that I'm envious of Chicago buried under a blanket of snow? I miss the slog through the drifts to the el stop, the wiggling of toes inside three layers of socks to make sure they're still circulting blood in there. The tricky wind that can find the seams in four layers of clothing... course I also miss Halsted Street Market Days, sweating rivulets despite the skimpiest of sundresses and medicinal vodka lemonades. I guess I'm just a Chicagoan no matter how far away I live.
I am ALL SET with the NYC government trying to force me to be healthier. I would love restaurants not to use transfats, but in general, I feel like that should be driven by consumer demand, not the freaking government.
I hope NYC-istas aren't overly fond of fast food.
We can still have it, it just has to be fried in oil that occurs in nature.
whatchoo talkin bout, Jesse? Did the ban go through?
