Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think that's one of the things I like about Nip/Tuck is they can be so outrageous and yet address real life issues in a meaningful way.

Yeah, when they don't go toooo far over the top. I realized that until last night I thought Bree Walker was a thalidomide baby. Speaking of people who should lay off the plastic surgery. Prediction: Either they figure out how to fix the baby's hands via magic surgery, or she doesn't end up having it, for whatever reason. No way they're actually going to have a baby with such a severe birth defect.

Oh, and reasons why my job is funny number whatever: I just had to search out a Yiddish word that my boss wanted to use in a note but couldn't quite remember.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just had to search out a Yiddish word that my boss wanted to use in a note but couldn't quite remember.

Drek?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oy.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am whiney and internally pouty (so far keeping it to myself...well, except for you in the box people) and not really sure why. I am resenting other people for 1) being where I have to see or hear them. 2) not doing something/anything to make me feel better (yeah, so rational).

Not sure where this came from, but my still hurting mouth and overflowing in basket may be good starters.

Heh. Boss thought it might be "shitach," I found sources for "shidech."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

But he falls into the "semi-solved" category. Let's face it, does anyone really believe it wasn't a Mob hit?

That's not what Elvis said the last time he called.

Is there any consensus on who was the Lindburg killer?

I think there's more consensus that the wrong guy was executed, but it's not a case I'm terribly familiar with.

He's got a lot of chutzpah.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am so behind in the teevee! At least Eureka's watched.

msbelle, would this help any?

I realise I haven't done any Aerosoles posts recently, so here goes:

I am seriously considering the Cot Machine, and sorely wish I didn't already have great granny boots, because these rock.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have House and Eureka to catch up on. I chose Veronica Mars last night. But I am thankful as ever for my DVR.
