Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, now I wish I had the A/C in. Bleh.

Asking for alliteration assistance: what's a word for parentage that starts with S?

Spawn?

I guess that's the opposite.

Strega - Jun 17, 2006 6:16:07 pm PDT #2562 of 10002

Hee. "Surprise!" Strain almost works, but not quite.

This may or may not help, and I guess I should have posted in Boxed Set, but for context: "Scorpius's Scarran/Sebacean _____"

Maybe there's a ps-- word.

Edited because I can't spell any of these damn made-up alien races.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sire.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd totally go with sire.

This is terribly creepy. Enough that I may choose to disbelieve it.

Strega - Jun 17, 2006 6:30:27 pm PDT #2565 of 10002

But sire implies that his father is a Sebacean/Scarran hybrid, I think. One parent is Sebacean, one is Scarran.

The dog-brain-cells playing Quake made me go "coooool" first, and then I thought about it and went, "creeeeeeepy." And then I started the countdown till someone writes a cyberpunk story based on it.
