Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

You could always take a trip north.

I have an extra room...

Our wings are not tired.

DCistas - would brunch on the 30th or 31st appeal? Dinner on the 30th would work for me as well.

That could be fun!

I think we could do brunch either day.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So, Sunday brunch good for all? Any suggestions as to where? I'm in NoVa, but good with anywhere on the Metro.

My search for the perfect brunch still continues, but we could do Penn Quarter. There's chain brunch at Clyde's [link] latin dim sum brunch [link] local brunch at the Chophouse [link] nice but a little pricey brunch at Poste [link] etc, etc. I also seem to recall a nice brunch in Adams Morgan (I think meara found it?), or there's drag brunch in Adams Morgan as well [link] Metro accessible with a bit of a hike. We could also go classic DC with Old Ebbitt [link]

All I ask for is something within easy Metro range. I still don't know where we're staying, but probably in Arlington since the Sheraton is so cheap. I'd prefer to eat some place that isn't a chain, but ya know, I'm just happy to be along for the ride. :P
