Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Heh. Yeah, I have. I think I even almost commented on it in LJ. Except I was still in the closet then.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Mmm, laces. (Who knew?)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

And the Wartime series was great! There was obviously stuff I couldn't follow, not being very well versed with the show, but the stories were perfectly gorgeous.

Oh, thanks, Rebecca! That's very kind of you. Could I prod you into sending feedback to Marasmus and Maria, do you think? Since they're not here to see it...

We put a lot of time into those stories, and it's nice to hear they're still getting read.

But I skimmed the scary parts. And then I needed candy afterwards.

I kinda like it when I'm reading a story through my hands.

And BTW, if you have time tonight, I'd like to inflict some 'sex pollen fic about guys you don't know' on you. Heh.

Cool. Then I guess I'd better squeeze in some writing time in between the massive piles of work on my desk. One last scene to write!

And I also find it intensely amusing that the canonical name of a Gotham donut place is "Frosty & Fillin'".

Because I am twelve.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Who are the guys? I wanna know.
