I thought this was an interesting discussion on names used on the show vs. how characters think of themselves (e.g., if you're writing from Giled POV in a 3rd-person story, is he Giles or Rupert? At what point does Anyanka start thinking of herself as Anya?).

Think I've hit my last straw. So, is there any reason for me NOT to set BBF to no-mail when, sadly, the most active people on the list insist on calling stories "fanfictions" and have throughly appalling taste?
And what are some good Buffy-specific recs places? Keeping in mind that I'm cranky and picky and hate half of what everyone else seems to love.
