this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

If you mean "Mary Pat Shelby", then yes, I hear you and agree, although I don't think I can speak as to your state of crackishness.

I do mean "Mary Pat Shelby," although I couldn't remember the title.

And I probably AM on crack. Just not about this.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

You're welcome. It's a great story.

Me neither. I wouldn't have known about this if I hadn't been nominated-- by someone I didn't even know was still reading my fic.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Just had feedback for my Snape/Lily story which was positive, but described the story as "weird and distorted". Huh.

YW&DMV

....then, curiosity piqued, I went and read one of her stories - one she loved enough to be using a chunk of it as her sig, with a link to the story.

Rather than comment upon the story, let me instead provide the snippet itself:

There she is, your image of perfection, lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Her turquoise eyes are void of emotions; her full lips are parted slightly. Her long blond hair surrounds her like a halo; she looks like an angel, doesn´t she? A fallen angel. There are tearstains on her face. Remember them? The ones you refused to acknowledge? Are you willing to see them now? Are you willing to face the truth? Look at her! Look at her lifeless body lying before you. Drained of life, her soul torn and destroyed; see her for what she is! Take a look! Look at her bloodstained hands, still holding the blade.

Ah, fandom. So many stories, so little time.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Ah, yes, the romance of suicide.

I have to say, it cheered me up no end.

On a less uncharitable note, however - anyone got any recs for Due South other than the PolyRecs collection?
