Who me? I'm harmless.

If y'all need me, I'll be over in the corner, raping and pillaging.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Am-Chau, I'm in Shattered Frames too, under best AU for "Touch."

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I don't care if she's a lying stank assed ho. I don't want to know her name until the jury's come back.

Damn straight.

I'm more torn wrt whether the accused should be granted anonymity. I'd tend towards a yes, but I can see a very good argument for no. Difficult. But I can see no good argument for naming and shaming the person who claims to have been raped. None.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

If y'all need me, I'll be over in the corner, raping and pillaging.

Maybe we should just demand some babies and face the fact that we're trolls.

SA and Kristen, you fuckin' scare me.

You know the best thing? I knew all the words without reference. ::cheeky grin::

Up with the sun

To clarify for Fay, her name hasn't been announced by the mainstream media AFAIK, but some asshole radio talk show host said it on-air and so it's all over the internet.

Me, I just think it's hypocritical that the mainstream news media will find 18 different ways to call her crazy (she tried out for American Idol! She was a flirt! She -- gasp -- had attempted suicide!) and destroy her credibility, but her actual name is considered secret to protect her privacy. What good will *that* do when all of America knows about her private life? And what does *any* of this have to do with whether she was sexually assaulted or not?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

This does all sound very, very shameful.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The Kobe case just reminds me of the similar Sports Night episode.

Anyone? Or am I on crack again?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Dunno. But an old friend of mine starred in a similar story on Law and Order way back in the first season.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

(When I was in college, there was a woman beaten and sexually assaulted in Central Park, and her wallet/ID was taken. She ended up in hospital with a fractured skull and grave danger of permanent brain damage, and nobody knew her identity. So the New York Times was squirrelling around, trying to maintain this unknown woman's privacy, at the same time that it was trying to announce enough detail for someone to come forward and say, "Oh yes, that must be _____." It was quite the high-wire act, but finally after a few days her parents came home from a vacation or something and figured it out.)

(In a New Yorker article about her brain damage, later on, they identified her only as Urgent Four -- 4th severe brain injury on the ward. Sometimes I think about her, wonder how she ended up, and in my mind, that's what I still call her.)

I've published fanfic in: XF, Smallville, Farscape, Firefly. I've written and circulated to a few people in: Angel, Buffy. I've parodied LOTR, but that was part of the whole "Chandlerizing" joke, and you know, I should be able to make good money Chandlerizing whole novels, don't you think??

Some fandoms just never move me to fanfic. (LOTR being a prime example. I don't want to fill in its gaps like a co-author; I want to research its gaps like an archaeologist.)
