How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Connie, do to the stories what you did to mine, rip em to bits and spit on the entrails *g*.

editing to be sure connie knows I was only joking as she's an absolutely splendid beta of amazing skill, and because she reminded me, just now, that I have a Gunn story, if Plei wants it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The same things involved in being a beta.

It's an auto-archive. You have Gunn stuff? Sign on, put it up!

Beta information I'd need, because I'm putting this page together manually, is basic will/won't/timeframe info.

For example, this is my information from Latitude:

Minim Calibre
Ratings: All
Usual Response Time: 1500 words or less: 1-3 days, 1500-10,000 words, one week. 10,001+, add a day for every additional 5000 words. Preferences: None
Dislikes/Won't Read: Won't read gratuitous non-con or songfic.
Notes: Former proof-reading (professional) descriptivist grammar geek, tends to make a lot of comments and minor tweaks/suggestions.

Diablo Robotico Up.

Here's a conceptual thing I thought about at the gym this morning:

DC Comics has "Elseworlds" to describe potential alternate settings for its heros. Marvel had its "What If...?" series.

An alternative Buffyverse could be titled: "Otherwhere."

One theory that came to my head is what would have happened had Xander and Willow not kissed before Cordy and Oz rescued them in "Lovers Walk."

What if Buffy had accepted Angel's offer for aid?

Had Xander said "I Do" to Anya instead of running?

HAHAHA!

See: What if Dru had killed Giles in Becoming.

Not that I have any idea what would happen then, oh no.

Diablo Robotico Up.

Wha?

Hoya: many AUs start with a what-if.

If I EVER get my ass around to finishing my dependencies chart for S3, 4, and 5, I'll finish the Trial By Fire series, which started with the notion of "What if Giles had died in Becoming?" and went from there.

(The first story is complete. The others are languishing on my hard drive.)
