Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Up with the sun

Would Caleb-as-narrator do ya?

Yarnspinning," by Jennifer-Oksana

Edit: This story contains spoilers through the last episodes of Angel -- I'm not sure if you've seen that yet.

Thanks, Lyra. I've read that-- and very good it is too-- despite the fact that I haven't seen the last ep. of Angel yet.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Did you get the rec for debchan's Daughter of David? I posted it at PF. Link is up at PolyRecs as well.

Yes, I got and read that also. Very good-- but I want more! Okay, so I'm being whiny, because nobody has written the specific fic I'm imagining: a Caleb POV piece on the melding with the FE, and I don't think I can carry off writing it myself. Someone else must have written Caleb!

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I have a wee bit of post-"Chosen" fic up in my LJ and I'd appreciate thoughts as to whether I should continue with it.

The wide universe is the ocean I travel, and the earth is my blue boat home

Verra nice, Holli. I think you should run with it.

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

Yeah, keep trying Holli.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Farscape has wormholes, SG1 has wormholes.

sighs in resignation

Can someone point me to the goodfic?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

For SG1 or Farscape?
