I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Got it, thanks.

Up with the sun

Where do we see Wes's last name written in canon? I probably would have put the "h" in there... (hangs head in shame)

Google gives a split result, though I guess IMDB counts more than a straight site count (Yeah, I typed this up for my own amusement):

Wyndham-Pryce, 3,440 hits
Wyndam-Pryce, 2,840 hits (Note: this is the IMDB spelling)
Wyndham-Price, 2,310 hits
Wyndam-Price, 1,060 hits
Windham-Price, 294 hits
Windham-Pryce, 233 hits
Windam-Price, 64 hits
Windam-Pryce, 19 hits

And the misspelling that makes me hiss is Jonothon/Jonathon/Jonothan. It's a common name, spell it right!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Scripts are to blame for that one, IIRC. They had a couple different spellings.

It's Wyndam-Pryce in the shooting scripts. So, I accept that as the canon spelling.

brillig

Well, we could always do "they are from another branch of the family. The family that spells the name with an H. We do not speak of them."

Want Matrix/Buffyverse crossover fic NOW.

Damn it.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

There's Matrix/Sentinel. Which is really good.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I've actually read Matrix/Buffy, ages ago. Can't remember anything of it except that it was set in S3, Willow was the one to be offered the red pill, and at the end, she offered it to Oz.

Bill, my friend, strange deeds are afoot at the Circle K.

I've brought up the Wyndham/Wyndam thing with beta-ees, and I could swear I was told the spelling had gone back and forth even in early scripts. (I'm a no-h gal myself, but I can understand why someone would want to go for consistency.)

Isn't the last big fight with Adam already a Matrix crossover?

Polyamorous Recs update.

Normally there'd be a pithy joke here, but we're both too tired to come up with one. You want to know why?

67 stories, 16 fandoms. Happy reading.

Diablo Robotico Up.

I thought of something today. Is anyone here familiar with the Gumball Rally that runs from London-to-Russia and back? It's like that old Cannonball Run movie, but involving muscled out supercars.

A Buffy fic would be nice set to the Gumball Rally. Could be a post-S7 thing, Buffy and company are in England to recuperate from the end of the showdown with the First, but they end up chasing a nasty band of vamps aiming to kill people off during the race!

All sorts of crossover stuff possible -- Wolfram & Hart sponsoring a car, etc...

Plus, we finally can have one of the new Lamborghini Murcielagos mixed in the same fic with Buffy! :)
