Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was close, too. I got to that page and wimped out.

Also, FTR, I love your tagline. That fic cracked me up.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yay! Someone commented on my tagline.

I read it with my husband in the same room. I'm giggling helplessly, and he's going "What? What's so funny? What?"

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

Which fic is it? I expect it's been linked before, I just can't think when or where, and I don't remember reading it.

I'm beginning to understand this now. It's all about the journey, isn't it?

New Noir.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

My Little Demons is one of the funniest stories ever written, in any fandom. I was so unhappy that The List wasn't nominated for Best Original Character for the Spookys that year. So unfair.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

I really, really want to join in the Sunnydale Sock Puppet Theater thing that's been going on on LJ lately. Anyone know who's behind it all? Or can I just jump in, if I've got a LJ start code?

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

There's a LJ community for it-- something called NotSunnydale or SOSunnydale, I don't know. Then again that one has, like, Vampire!Fred; so I'm not sure whether it's the BuffyverseLJSockPuppetRPG, or an AU one.

I found that, and it seemed to have a bunch of people not involved in the current insanity. So I'm not sure if that's the official place. I just realy, really want to start a LJ for Jonathan. Is that so wrong?

Edited becuase "involved" has one "o." Just one.

Everyone needs to go read Hal's latest story, If I Were Queen of the Forest. LoTR humor, and freaking hysterical.
