Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Yay Jilli, congrats!

Test your geography! I got 90% correct, although it's not that hard at the end.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks, Plei. That was so lovely.

Catching the headline Pregnant Kiko Shocks Japan out of the corner of my eye.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am in the driest training ever. Well, not right now--it's the five minute break. But I don't know if I can last until Thursday.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, skip training! sneak out.

So, google books? Often kind of cool because I can look at a primary source and search it word by word, or by phrase. I can't necessarily print it out (though I did print the pages of William of Rubruck I needed) but I can get a sense of where to look in a more specific way than the index allows.

Research in the 21st century is a whole new thing.
