Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They've started in both Belgium and Germany before, but at least those are, you know, contiguous.

Chunnel?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Not that sort of random fact. This sort.

Batman isn't a creature of the night. The night approaches Batman carefully avoiding any eye contact.

Always Anti-fascist!

I wanna say "Pennyworth" Hec, for Alfred's last name. Am I close? It's been a long time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Now, this is a Jamaican headline: Teacher buggered he/she boy?

Now that's the sort of fact I'm talking about, Hec. Let me try it.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Did you know they were opening one, Kat?

Yep. we watched them slowly remodel the building. I just didn't think they were opening quite this soon. They opened yesterday and the place is really beautiful. In a nook by the door, there's even a couch with armchairs around a table which is perfect for brunch.

So exciting.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Batman doesn't dress like a bat to instill fear. That's why bats dress like him.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Batman doesn't kill. He prefers to make people wish they were dead.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Batman does not sleep. He closes his eyes for six hours at a time, against the despair in Gotham.

When Batman broods, clouds gather over the city. Batman developed this ability to control the weather so that the bat-signal would never beam fruitlessly into outer space on a clear night.

Crime does not occur during the day, in deference to Batman being too cool to be seen in daylight.
