It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Goddammit! Bob bought stamps this week and I had the thought, "I'm glad the price of stamps didn't go up!"

Good thing I still have some 3 cent stamps from last time.

I really should start going to trivia nights at bars.

Yeah!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Hey, did we all know that US postage is going up tomorrow? 39 cents for a letter now.

Yep! And the $.02 stamps have lovely navajo jewelry on them.

I ated too much breakfast. I need to go wash the car (and lori needs to wash Bear again). But really, I want to nap. Decisions. Decisions.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I just got up from a nap and I highly recommend it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oooh. Cool.

Also, I just got out of a mid-afternoon shower, and I recommend it as well. Very warm and refreshing.

I think I will do that next. Thanks, Liese!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a Lush bath in my near future.

I have been mocked into going for dinner tonight. It's stunning how lame I am.

American Dialect Society has picked "truthiness" as its word of the year. Read the PDF in the entry--pretty fucking hysterical. They even have a Most Unnecessary category (K Fed).

Naps! Yay naps!

I have 2.5 sheets of $0.37 stamps. I guess this means I'll have to go to a real post office (I normally buy online) and buy a couple three sheets of $0.02 ones in order to mail my bills out next week. Great.

I think my dear old dad may have given me a cold. Not his cold, because this isn't a cough thing like he had. This is ice-pick-in-sinus-cold-threat. Sigh.

And hey! Cute kidlets!

Now I may go lie down.
