Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Any other skill I didn't mention?

Can you play any instrument? Hold a tune when singing?

Me, I'm not even here, I just ran back to the computer to post before I leave it, since I won't have access until then, that according to the Buffista Calendar, Saturday, the 7th, will be Miracleman's birthday. Early wishes to him!

Have good rest-of-the-week and great weekends, everybody!

hip deep in pie

My best friend's dad threatened to throw me in their pool if I hadn't learned to swim my the end of the summer. So I learned ot swim.

I don't mind swimming in deep water, but I would never dive into it. And diving in pools is worse for me, I guess I find it more disorienting.

Like, can you ride a bike? Do a cartwheel? Catch, throw, hit a ball? Jump rope? Skate? Any other skill I didn't mention?

yes. used to. all but hit, but none very well. yes. yes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A couple of years ago, I actually Played Catch for the first time in my life, and it was so fun!

OMG, I want your father. Mine had us camped out on the lawn for lessons. Swimming's already been covered -- then there was tennis. That he was serious about.

I've just managed to stress myself out, and it's taking so much energy to stop it from becoming a headache that I'm shaking. It's better than the pain, but not good!

Nilly, I can't sing or play an instrument. Never had musical lessons.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I knew as I was typing that I was doing something messy, but the caps and lowercase are so different in my head I couldn't work out what. Sorry! No hateration from me in your direction, rest assured.

No apologies necessary. Just an eep! moment, and I prefer the lowercase "sj" anyway.

I used to love to roller skate (old four-wheelers) but the heavy skates screwed up my knees because I couldn't do the turns right. My favorite childhood activity was taking the dog and going for very long walks in the hills. Didn't do a lot of wading in the creeks because of snakes.

I took ice-skating lessons for 2+ years, but recently discovered that it's something you have to do regularly to keep the knack.

See I thought skating was a lot like riding a bicycle. Except for the stopping part, which was always a bit challenging.

Me neither! I just can't speak "music", though I love the sound of the language.

OK, now I really am off. Bye!

Flute and I can't carry a tune in a bucket.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I used to play flute, can still sing, can kind of read music, although not sight-sing anymore.

Yeah, not so much. My family doesn't tend to be Physical Activity oriented.
