Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm at work. Yuck. But I have decided that going out to look for possible furniture for my new office is part of my job today, so the afternoon should be fun.

The status is NOT quo.

Great Thanksgiving was had by all. We finally got to drain water and flush by 11. Unfourtunately, I forgot I had set the invite for noon. DOH! Oh well, in fine, LA tradition, everyone was "fashionably late" and we ate around 3:30. It was awesome.

I am now trying to convince the Monkey Girl that feeding waffles to the dog is a waste of waffle. She ain't buyin' it.

BWAH!! This is Aimee! Id idn't realize I was signed in as Kristin until Lost and VM started showing up in my thread selections!

Our wings are not tired.

You had me confused there Aimee. I was thinking that Kristin was hosting Thanksgiving at your house.

Yay for water! So, was the ring found?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

OK. I wondered if there'd been multiple plumbing issues in Buffista land. Anyway, I'm glad you were able to get things resolved and have a good Thanksgving dinner.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The ring was NOT found. B is very upset about it. Not so much the $$, but because they've only been married a month.

Damn. I'm sorry. I've lost precious (emotionally) rings and it is a painful loss.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Man, Aimée, that's rough. And a cautionary tale to people with uninsured bling of any kind.

Fabric building sculptures. They're ethereally pretty, yet mundane.
