Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Rollicking porn, maybe?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Happy birthday sumi! My there are a lot of November birthdays.

Speaking of which, one of my best friends turns 29 "for the first time" this weekend. She's having a thing out at her house on Friday. Now I'm all cranky about all of this for a few reasons, some practical some not. First, I turn 30 a week from Saturday, so an "OMG I'm going to turn 29 so I'm going to make a huge deal because NO WAY am I turning 30!" Is not helping with any anxiety I may or may not be pretending I don't have. Second, her house is practically in Oklahoma, which means taking busy highways at a busy time of day and being on the road for about an hour after I get off work. I was hoping to catch a ride with someone else, but she's going up there early to help set up. I'm also not going to be able to stay long because I go into work at about 8:15 Saturday morning and the drive back home is as long as the drive up there.

So basically I'm looking at an hour drive at 6:00 traffic to get to a party with a theme that makes me pretty uncomfortable, where I may be able to have a glass of wine or two before getting back on the road for an hour drive home and then going straight to bed for work the next morning.

Not even porn?

Well, porn might distract me from my current plan to drive to Pittsburgh in order to commit aggravated assault.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

All the way to Pittsburgh? Damn.

How about I write you a little thing in which Danny and Casey are forced to go to Pittsburgh?

All the way to Pittsburgh?

Somebody needs a beating, and I can't smoke on the plane, yo.

How about I write you a little thing in which Danny and Casey are forced to go to Pittsburgh?

Oh god, yes please.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How about I write you a little thing in which Danny and Casey are forced to go to Pittsburgh?

Oooh! Oooh! Give them extra time there because its raining in Indian Wells.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Download a movie to your TiVo.

I am currently planning to wear the silver dress to the krav holiday party. I think this is because I'm in a pissy mood. I have jost over a month to recover.
