Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

'Underneath'

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We could confirm this if there were any show tunes on your iPod.

Which show tunes were you speaking of? I currently have "Hairpsray", "Wicked", "Les Miz", "Evita", "Into the Woods", "Phantom", and "Momma Mia".

Oh Christ.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

WHITEY.

I just don't know why "I Got A Man" beat "Fight For Your Right". Very odd.

WHITEY.

I can't hear you. I'm eating a muffin.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Now if you'd had "The Wiz"...

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

None of my favortie rap songs were on the list. ("No Sleep 'till Brooklyn" and "Sabotage" were my Beasties picks). Last time I checked I was still very white. Oh wait, it says "Anything by Eminem" so I did make the honorable mentions list.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

The only rap albums I own are P.E. and N.W.A.

I think that makes me White And Pretentious.

Rap albums I own? That'd be License to Ill. Unless you count the Blondie album that has Rapture and the Adam and the Ants album that has Ant Rap. Most of the rap I listen to is owned by my roomate. Oh and somewhere I have a cassette tape called "the answer album" that has "Roxanne Roxanne" and "The Real Roxanne" among others.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The only rap albums I own are P.E. and N.W.A.

But how do you feel about Mos Def? (I found that list linked off a blog called "Things White People Like," and Mos Def was the most recent entry.)

I'd say White and Old.

information libertarian

I was with Aimee, though I was phrasing it as "white and was in musically formative years in the late 1990s."

I happen to love goofy rap/pop music. And I am white. Is that so wrong? I do draw the line at MC Hammer, though.
