Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I don't think we did do any. But I've still been thinking about it. Maybe we have some distance from 06 and can do it now?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

All things considered, I\'d rather be in Philadelphia [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I saw a Secret Cinema show when it traveled out to SF. Cool stuff.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Entire staff of VH-1 Classics got canned.

"Either it's murder, or this library has a very strict overdue policy."

A handful of us did best of 2006-lists.

I think Freddy Quimby should walk out of here a free hotel

A handful of us did best of 2006-lists.

Right. I didn't know if that was the case or not so I can backtrack and see.

For what it's worth my top five of '06 were, in no particular order:

Dar Williams - My Better Self. The Paper Chase - Now You Are One Of Us. The Dresden Dolls - Yes, Virginia. The Hold Steady - Boys and Girls In America. And cheatingly

The Cardigans - Super Extra Gravity

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Mine would be M. Ward, Chris Thile, The Hold Steady, Christina Aguilera (hush!), and Neko Case.

Ask me again, and I'd probably change some of those...

"Either it's murder, or this library has a very strict overdue policy."

This month, hell, this week I've finally stopped being bothered by the sometimes dodgy (in my mind that is, not a big fan of the echoy tin shed aesthetics of the 80ies) production values in the Mekons. I'm hooked.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

The Police are going on tour.

They have no dates scheduled in Los Angeles yet.

The information I have dug up online leads me to believe that single crappy seat tickets will be about $250-300.

I'm having difficulty telling what the best site online to buy tickets for this, and that I will be able to afford to go.

These things are all making me very broken.

Art Crawl!!!

They're going to be in Vegas and some places there might be $50.00 seats.
