Oh yeah, anyone else unable to decouple the song with the movie?
Considering I didn't even make that connection? I guess me.
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

And thanks after all for the link to the VU acetate mp3s. The bitrate of the WFMU files is much higher than the version I downloaded last month.
The sound quality of those WFMU mp3s isn't all that bad - except for all the popping and other noise. You could probably remove a good chunk of the popping with software that's designed to clean up digitized record recordings... but I don't have any such software or know what's a good program. Maybe I'll look into this later... anyone have software recommendations?

Yep, count that on my list that also includes Brazil and Stuck in the Middle With You.
Huh, was Lene Nystrom's "It's Your Duty" song a hit in the states? (She was the singer in Aqua, I think.)
The video is sexy/kinky/goofy.
Pretty reminiscent of En Vogue's "Free Your Mind."
Great. Now I'm earwormed with "Lollipop".
Know what just stuck in my mind this evening? Now that I'm not moving, I'm going to get to meet Megan in March. What's French for "yippee!"?
David Bowie is 60 years old today. Still hot? Discuss.
And Stephen Hawking turns 65. Also hott?
Stephen Hawking is going to go into space. Do you think his spaceship knows which way to go?
eta: Way-late edit to prove that I'm not just making shit up. (In this case, anyway.)
