Happily downloading your mix now, Nicklas.

I can't believe you don't have the first TV on the Radio yet! Go get it now - I think it is the better of the two.

Nice year-end mix, Frankenbuddha. I am unfamiliar with a lot of those tracks though I know the bands.

"Either it's murder, or this library has a very strict overdue policy."

I pushed TV on the Radio up on the go-get-list, right after Tom Waits' Orphans -- which currently is the "oh, I need this now this very instant or I'll die from withdrawal". So, soonish.

Tell me about it.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

SA, Have you heard his other albums? I think the reason I am having trouble putting it in my Top 10 is because I am comparing it to Transistor Radio and Transfiguration of Vincent, which are still better albums in my opinion. But it is a great album.

I haven't! I really need to get my hands on them, but I'm kind of waiting until I buy an 80 gig iPod, so I can just stick stuff on there without having to keep it on my computer.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Where would be the best place for me to look for a long out-of-print LP? I'm trying to track down the double LP recording of "Don Juan in Hell". It was released by Columbia in 1950. If I could manage to find a copy by Christmas, it would make me the best daughter ever.

Anyone have any suggestions? Other than Google, that is, because I'm working my way through the search results right now.

Apologies if I'm repeating something everyone already knows, but rumor has it there's an interview with Tom Waits on today's All Things Considered.

Figured I should pass it on.
