McCabe is coming up on my cable listings, incidentally.Oooh. What channel?
re: buffistarawk - Does the second account have the same password as the first one? Also, do mp3s need to be converted to zips?
Big congrats and hello, Joe!
No one claimed McCabe? What's up with that?
No one claimed The Wild Bunch when we did Peckinpah, either. Some things are just too big when time is short.
Does the second account have the same password as the first one?
The same + 2 at the end, IIRC.
Also, do mp3s need to be converted to zips?
Nossir.
For Beatles fans. And Fiery Furnaces fans.
This Bird Has Flown: A 40th Anniversary Tribute to The Beatles' Rubber Soul What is annoying about this album is that emusic doesn't list the artists. Bastards! But "Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)" is by the Fiery Furnaces, and it's a fun version.
Now I gotta find a track listing that actually lists the artists, and then enter all that crap into iTunes....
eta: Apparantly this was released a year ago?
Huh. I just found out (because I keep forgetting to look at things like this) that My Chemical Romance is coming to the Aragon on December 15. Which is, like, only a couple of blocks from me.
Apparantly this was released a year ago?
Yeah, there was a lot of discussion on music blogs last year about the FF's version of "Norwegian Wood." They explicitly set the song to a Dylan melody and strum thing that is sorta interesting and sorta annoying at the same time.
Apparantly this was released a year ago?

The Fiery Furnaces is the best thing on it, by far.
Thanks for the links, Jon.
I also liked the version of "What Goes On" by Sufjan Stevens a lot. I've only listened to the whole thing once so far, so others might grow on me....
