I saw Big Time in a theater when it first came out, and bits and pieces since, but haven't watched the whole thing in a while.

My local art-house theater is gonna be showing Big Time at midnight soon - I can't wait!

It's pretty awe inspiring to hear the range of genres that his songs work with. Blues and jazz and weimar cabaret, of course, but also country and pop and punk. The Jeffrey Lee Pierce is straight up rap and it works perfectly (because Tom's all about the rhythm and the worldplay).

Crud. Corwood, did you get the book I sent you? Because if you didn't then maybe I'm spacing out, but I'm sure I sent them at the same time. And I think it was a couple weeks ago.
