Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Be careful what music you play on your way to the airport: [link]

Ann, that's a ferret.

Hec, does the CD also have "Humphrey the Camel"? Which includes the lyrics, "Authentic. Camel. Love. Call."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, does the CD also have "Humphrey the Camel"? Which includes the lyrics, "Authentic. Camel. Love. Call."

It does! And the love call really is obviously researched and authentically reproduced.

I love "Tennessee Bird Walk" with the bald-headed birds walking north....

"When I look at people that I would like to feel have been a mentor or an inspiring kind of archetype of what I'd love to see my career eventually be mentioned as a footnote for in the same paragraph, it would be, like, Bowie." ~Trent Reznor

Be careful what music you play on your way to the airport:

“He didn’t like Led Zeppelin or The Clash but I don’t think there was any need to tell the police,” Mann told the Daily Mirror.

I'd say not liking Zeppelin is cause for calling the police.

Art Crawl!!!

A friend sent me an article in email (I believe that the article is originally from Reuters) with this information:

Sonic Youth principals Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, plus their daughter, Coco, on shakers, will appear on the season finale of the WB drama "Gilmore Girls" to perform an acoustic version of the new song "What a Waste."

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Billboard.com had that story: [link]

"on shakers" ??? What does an ascetic, celibate, nearly-extinct religious sect have to do with the Gilmore Girls?

Would it disturb anyone if I was to put together a mix of my favorites from this challenge to share with my non-Buffista friends? (Properly thanking each person who supplied me with them, of course.)
