Just confirmed a reservation for a truck so I can pick up a couch and a grill (and possibly an additional AC unit) from some friends who are passing them along. Whee! Furniture! And room for the furniture! And a place to put a grill!

If you're around, last night I dreamt that you were really sad, and that I wanted to cheer you up by dragging you for a pedicure, but you didn't believe me, and started painting your own toenails, which made me sad, and then there was a shopping adventure, and we never did get our pedicures.

discovered a giant waterfall

Aw, wow, that's so cool. I love how the one guy was all, "Yeah, I've known about it, I just didn't tell you."

Maybe they'll discover a secret waterfall in Chaco Canyon, down the road from us.

I think that you should go looking for it and then only take SOME people in to see it.

It's the sekrit waterfall-viewing cabal!

A small group of cavers and the owners of the land managed to keep the Kartchner Caverns secret for a long number of years while they negotiated with the state to set it up as a special park & reserve -- this included taking the governor on a Sekrit Tour, which must have been fun. Having seen some of the cave rooms, I'm not at all surprised that he was impressed.

Ooh, I never knew that one of the perks of being a govenor is secret spelunking....

There's a waterfall in the canyon where Kat took me hiking a couple months back. It's not secret except for the bit where "Waterfall? LA?"

Pretty freaking cool, except mosquitoes.
