Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know what I'm going to do about reading materials.

I'm going to need an assload to read, but I hate taking up the space.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

For long trips, I take lots of magazines and cheap paperbacks that I won't mind leaving on the plane/in hotels etc. That way as I get rid of them I have room for souvenirs and prezzies.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, I don't know nothing.

Speaking of not knowing nothing, I was looking at flights yesterday, but didn't buy, so of course everything's $50 more expensive today. It's for Labor Day. Should I wait and see if there are last-minute deals, or just cough up?

Carry it with in grocery bags and leave it in airports or waiting rooms as you finish. It feels like less space that way. That's what I did for USSR (ok, I left a buttload of vintage-my dad was ready to throttle me- Steinbecks with the soviet volunteers I worked with), Prague, Spain and Africa.

It's also how I picked up reading material on the way back.

I do wish I'd saved one book in Prague. Truckstop Rainbows.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I have the Hoover Windtunnel canister model, which has non-icky disposable bags, and a HEPA filter. Which means I don't have a headache from the dust after cleaning up. I just wish the carpet attachment didn't get fouled up with cat hair so quickly....

Well, I don't know nothing.

I'm relying on memory and back-o-book synopsis, so..... You read it, or going off the trailers?

Why I like Gallant and Neela getting together on ER so much, I don't know. But nice filming for network.

Just trailers.

Whitefont, sara -- the ER thing, I mean.

Maybe I should find a series out in paperback and buy a few of those ...

What I do need to do is buy shorts. I have no shorts for travelling.

What to do about this goddamned trip I wanted to take? I think I wait and see if I can do better. It was a whim anyway.
