So, had my interviews today. I'm really really hoping for the first job. Not great pay, but the job itself is right up my alley. During my question time (though I was actually asking questions through the whole thing) I asked her what made her want to join the company. We talked about really believing in something, and how it's not just a job with a paycheck, but you really have to have a calling.
I need to write a thank you note, but I'm afraid it won't get there until Monday. Is a quick email ok? It was a very friendly, informal office, but I don't want to make any presumptions.
Second interview was fine, decent job with good growth potential, but certainly not a calling.
Heather, I e-mailed mine. I think these days, especially if they're making decisions quickly, it's okay.
Good luck!

I think an email is okay. You might want to send the paper one, too.
Yay! Thanks ita. That was my instinct, but I needed a little validation. I really enjoyed meeting this woman and I love the job. She actually said, "We're a very liberal organization" and I could have cried.
I think an email is fine. I often follow up with a note but, in this day and age, mail takes a long time.
It sounds like something you would enjoy doing just from your enthusiasm. Good luck!
Oh Heather, go get 'em!
It also comes in Scooby Doo. [link]
Cool. I could buy just one! Everyone likes Scooby Doo. Thirty-nine bucks is a lot, though. I could just teach them to use my vacuum.
Ok. Email sent.
Gah. Hate. Waiting.
Also I should get dressed for drinks with girls. I would be perfectly happy to sit here in my jammies though. Perhaps I'll just wear jammies to the bar.
