All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hey there! I am now back in Chicago. I arrived Monday evening, but hurt my back unloading the car so I just got around to setting up the computer.

So what did I miss in the last 6 weeks?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I can't take Sudafed (I think I tried the red, back when it lived on the regular shelves). It gave me anxiety, which I am well able to manufacture on my own. I told my GP I'd rather have the sinus infection, thanks.

Me too! I have to explain this to Z every. single. time. I have a cold.

Man’s testicles snared in a padlock for two weeks

I think the moral of that story is, Don't padlock your testicles.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hi aurelia!

Godzilla destroyed much of downtown Chicago, but Superman fixed it all.

For some reason there hasn't been much about this in the papers....

Sudafed rarely acts as a stimulant on me. But then, sometimes benadryl makes me wired. My system can be quite contrary.

So Novak was telling the truth when he said Godzilla hid all the WMDs?

Oh, so that's why there was that picture of Godzilla posing with Bin Laden. And there's the Al Qaeda / Iraq connection right there.

What is even happening?

A friend of his did it to him.
With friends like this....
Hee. It seems to me we need a slogan, along the lines of Friends don't let friends drive drunk.

The shake character from Aqua-Teen Hunger Force (Cartoon Network/Adult Swim). One episode he got bad unnecessary plastic surgery that included his ears being moved.

Totally random on my part, I'll admit.

That's okay. Random is fine by marzipan in your pie plate bingo.

Me too! I have to explain this to Z every. single. time. I have a cold.

Yes! A sinus infection doesn't make me feel like I might be dying, although I've had some that maybe made me more inclined toward it. I had a sinus infection in say 1999. I had another one in 2002, which I'm nearly certain was caused by giving my kids their nebulizer treatments. The doctor said, "You've had a lot of sinus infections."

I said, "Isn't this my second in three or four winters? That's a lot? Um. No. Not taking Sudafed as a matter of course when the seasons change." I could see if they were anything approaching chronic, but I am much more inclined toward anxiety.

Sudafed rarely acts as a stimulant on me. But then, sometimes benadryl makes me wired. My system can be quite contrary.

Benedryl is funny. It usually knocks me out--hard. I generally only take it when my allergies are unbearable. I've found over the years that by riding out my seasonal allergies, I've become less symptomatic. But, on the rare occasion I have to take more than a couple of doses in a row, it can hop me up.
