In California we have flexible 18-year-olds.

Do you have flexible Dick Graysons? Because that's what I really wanted.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you have flexible Dick Graysons? Because that's what I really wanted.

You should come here and we could go on a quest.

Visilurking

This is SOP for health insurance companies. BC/BS won't commit to shelling out an indeterminate amount of money for prescriptions just because the company faxed over a correction. The two weeks really gives them some time to make sure everything is correct before making payments, because it's not like they're going to have much luck chasing down insureds who got benefits they shouldn't have, to pay those benefits back. They'd rather make the insured lay it out and then get reimbursed when the coverage situation shakes out.

If anyone should pay for Cass's prescriptions for those two weeks, it should be her company who screwed up the initial application.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's basically how my insurance snafu was resolved (the HR director was a month off in the date she told me my insurance would be active, leaving me with an unexpected extra month of COBRA to pay, so I was told to give them the receipt and they would reimburse me for half of that month's costs).

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, for the one script it is just really a hassle and massively annoying. If it goes past the one or there are doctor's visits, the company is shelling the cash and then *they* can deal with the reimbursement. Or, at least, I'll raise a major fuss about it.

because it's not like they're going to have much luck chasing down insureds who got benefits they shouldn't have, to pay those benefits back
Amusingly, we are going to find out exactly when/if my old insurance was cancelled. Technically it should have been on the 9th but I don't know for sure. If they do cover this script, and shouldn't have to, I'll sic them on BC/BS for their money and it can be a healthcare death match.
p.s. - I hate Fedex.com and need it to DIEDIEDIE
RiteAid online, however, rocks like a rocking thing because I haven't yet had to deal with a person and it looks like they are refilling the script for pickup later. Price TBD of course, but still fill in some info, hit a button and drugs R us.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I can get behind a hunt for Dick.

So, Idiot Brother just called. Like last time (see Bitches for details), he was looking for a WaMu. Unlike last time, he knew where the WaMu was, just not where he was in relation to it.

Dude really needs to pick up a WaMu location directory and a set of maps for the various cities where he stays. Or he needs to start paying me.
