ION, the omelette perfection I created last weekend seems to have been a one time thing. So far, anyway. Damn.

I hate that. I do a perfect omlette maybe 1 out of 5 times, and every time, I think that I've mastered it.

Don't forget Panda, Baby

Only the dead ones, though.

You guys are reminding me of the fact I was woken up multiple times last night because I was being kicked in the head.

Is ita staying with you?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I was just going to tap you the once. As for the advice, I was thinking of bringing Allyson.

Never mind. I don't want any advice. I'm just going to build a bomb shelter and live in there forever.

Bomb shelters get Sci-Fi Friday, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Don't say I didn't offer.

I just saw that Adidas bought Reebok. Huh.

Hey -- how do people store their jewelry? I'm having a hell of a time keeping stuff untangled, and I have the whole top of a lingerie chest where they can roam free, or nest in shot glasses or small platters.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'n now thinking that grep (a Unix utility) on the threadsucked file would be faster, as it doesn't have to load the whole thing into memory at once.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I bought a plastic thing at the hardware store with a bunch of little places to put things, which works great and was really cheap. I then promptly stopped wearing jewelry again.

The best system I've ever seen was by my friend Fahamisha who is a jewlery maker. She had a pegboard rectangle that she painted black on her wall with small hooks and all of her necklaces were on the hooks. Earrings were kept on a smaller pegboard, but with the posts/earring going through the holes. Rings were in a box. Bracelets? I can't remember where.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't have one of these, but I think they're neat. Jewelry armoire

I keep my jewelry from tangling by not having m,uch jewelry so it can all stay in it's original boxes.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Yeah, I have an armoire kind of like that one, along with an earring holder thingie so I don't have to search for matching pairs in a drawer.
