brenda, I adore this child beyond reason, but he is going to be the death of me. I've aged 10 years, in his five years of life.

I think this scared me a little extra (above and beyond the scariness of seeing your kid sitting in a room alone, with a plastic bag over his head) because I remember being skeptical of the whole, "Don't put a bag over your head, you'll suffocate" thing, when I was little. I distinctly remember being tempted to try it, and then feeling guilty for being tempted to do something my mother had told me was dangerous and wrong. I never did do it, but every once in a while, I would think about it, a lot, because I couldn't shake the idea that if I couldn't breathe, I could just take the bag off.

I was walking home from work today and a house that I walk past almost every day had yellow crime scene tape all around it and most of the windows were boarded up. All of 2nd and 3rd story windows were boarded up and there was this stench of burned wood in the air.

How could this house have burned from the inside/out - so close to where I live and yet, I had not a clue?

You could see some scorch marks on the boards -- up where the wall meets the roof. . . and a large tree in the parkway was chopped down. I hope that the people were okay.

My jaw hurt for a while, though, just from being open for so long.

take the drugs - I used the 800 dose of ibuprophin. - because of evil itching from vicodin. and the worst part of it is the time......My dentists has goggles to watch movies. I suggest something you know that can be turned up loud - like Star Wars. Distraction is key. and if you feel any pain - get more drugs. They put a lot of drugs in my mouth, but really me not jumping when they touch things in my mouth is a good thing.
