You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I like pigeons. They're survivors.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How much do root canals hurt, and for how long do they keep hurting?

Smoked chicken.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Smoked chicken.

I'm glad I asked. I was thinking Vienna sausages.

Well as long as I don't get an uncontrollable urge to climb trees and shit on peoples' heads.

Don't eat any monkeys.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I like pigeons. They're survivors.

Well can't they go survive someplace else?

For a while, downtown Evanston was having a major pigeon-shit crisis. I saw a cop lecturing an old lady who was feeding them.

With anesthetic, not too bad. Afterwards there's a throbbing ache, but if you get the good little pills you'll be alright. The throbbing goes away after a couple of days.

P.S. Go anesthetic, Choose anesthetic.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

DX -- did CBS News say why helicopters were sent? Did they not realize it was just kids and think there was some kind of...something else going on?

No, it was something Bob Schieffer said in the lead in. The girl said the cops made her lie on the ground, then stuck a knee in her back while they were cuffing her. She's about 4' tall.

Okay, who needs this advice? I had a filling once without anaesthetic, but that's about it for me and the procedures without a chemical assist.

Oh, I am all about the anaesthetic. I also have vicadin.
