I fear I have been in many bookless houses. They're usually owned by the people who come into my house and say, "Have you read all these?" or "You must like to read."

I prefer not to use the term "book-free." It sounds like it's a feature rather than a bug. You know, like bug-free or sugar-free. It reminds me of the cameras that are sold as "focus-free."

I hate shaving my underarms, I always miss something. I hate shaving which is one reason I love capris.

Susan, try going without an AP for a while. I usually use a deodorant only, and it seems to have actually reduced the amount that I sweat in the pit region.

I'd be terrified to try that--I ruin shirts from sweat-staining fast enough as is! I think half the reason I'm the anti-ita WRT warm weather is I sweat so damn much, all over when it's warm, just in the pits in normal weather. One of the things I hate about my body.

Dark tees only while you're letting your sweat flow get back to normal. Seriously, quitting the AP was the best thing I ever did for my wetness level, and I'm also more comfortable in the hot weather.

Hell, I used the Tom's of Maine roll on while in labor, and it held up. I was a not-so-stinky new mom. It was great.

Now I'm wondering how you spell "jhooje"...as in "juj the product through your hair."

Susan, I can't remember which stuff I use - see askye's post above. Though I do know that I had a horrific allergic reaction (itchy red rash + asthma-like attack) from Secret Platinum. And Suave somethin-or-other that was Freesia scented that I was trying because it was one of the only ones on the market with no aluminum stings like a mother.

Actually, I think the Adidas stuff was non-AP--it was a deodorant that was supposed to have some new-fangled wetness-absorbing thingummies rather than standard AP chemicals. But I was all sweaty and stinky, and ruined a favorite t-shirt. Maybe I should find a stretch of a few days when I don't have any plans, haul out some sleep shirts whose fate I don't care about, and give it another go.

My DH would agree with Plei about skipping the anti-p and just using d. I never had to use any product before, so it's all new to me, but so far nothing has worked.

Of course, what with a baby on my lap most of the day, armpits are usually one of the less gross things in my life.
