Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Spike's Bitches 24: I'm Very Seldom Naughty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Cashmere!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I should totally buy the domain www.smite.com and start charging. Dollar a smite.

You really should.

Do I need to get myself a livejournal account to see the smiting?

Librarian Warlord

Dollar a smite.

Could there be little punch cards so that if you buy 10 smitings the next one is free?

Stuffed animal companions are the best. I have a photo album of my bunny and bear and the places they've been.

The wide universe is the ocean I travel, and the earth is my blue boat home

Just talked to my NP. Apparently it's a very good sign that I've had significant improvement overnight--going from weeping at the pain whenever I have to move at all to pain, bad pain even, but nothing unbearable means it's likely that it's just muscular rather than a slipped disk. I'm supposed to come in tomorrow unless it's much, much better just to be sure.

Ah well. I have a laptop, Tivo, and a pile of books, and DH is probably taking the rest of the week off. I managed to wash my face last time I hobbled to the bathroom--next time, Ima brush my teeth! Amazing what simple things make me feel better.

Transplant~ma to your friend, Jilli. I have a friend who's on her second transplanted liver, and it's amazing how people can spring back post-surgery.
