So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I offered 9.

But one of them was entirely on crack. I could do it, and it would be fun, but I'm mostly shocked that it even made the list. So.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

...dude, you're making me feel inadequate.

A lot of them are books. Several others are musicals.

I think I listed 27, but I might scale that back to 20 before the deadline is over.

I kind of want to sign up for the Sports Night holiday exchange, but I can't decide if I'll really regret it come December.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

How much longer do I have to dither about signing up for Yuletide?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Till Sunday, I think.

I printed up a list of fandoms I might consider writing for so I could look it over and winnow it down. It's got 80 or so on it. This winnowing is going to take some time (meanwhile, I'm asking for the two I always ask for!).

I almost wish people hadn't signed up for so many, since it makes it hard to tell what the need really is -- there aren't exactly 24 writers for random semi-obscure fandom, there are more like (let's say) 5 people who signed up for 3 fandoms (5/3) plus 5 people who signed up for 10 (5/10) plus 3 who signed up for fifteen plus 2 who signed up for 20 plus 5 who signed up for 30 -- 5/3 + 5/10 + 3/15 + 2/20 + 5/30 = 2 and 2/3 writers.

Okay, not really. But you know what I mean? Not that it should really affect my decision. But it does. Er. Someone remind me to sign up?

I have no idea what Emily just said.

But I really don't take need or supply into account when I offer fandoms. I was interested to see how many people do when the subject came up on the comm.

I just don't want to offer too many (because I start having ideas about the story I might write before it's assigned, and discarding three or four is fine, but 15!) but would like to help out where it's needed. I just feel less needed when there are 2 requests and 80 offers, if you see what I mean.

Eh, whatever. I do appreciate the willingness to write in many fandoms.

I have no idea what Emily just said.

Just to clarify, though I'm sure no one cares --

t cut because it ended up being 8 lines long and NO ONE CARES
