Who needs to worry about getting along with strangers in a zombie situation? If you're not getting along with them, "Oops! I was sure he was coming to eat my brain" is a perfectly good excuse.
I particularly liked the icon: "Hating me won't make you pretty." Just says it all, doesn't it?
On don't-feed-the-trolls front, I will resist the temptation to reply there; besides, the inhabitants seem to have done a fine job. However:

And you would survive because your brain is so unspicy as to be inedible. Isn't that a comfort to you?

I've seen it recced on BetterBuffyFic, but I haven't read any of it. I find virtual seasons odd.
Perkins, the writers involved are all good, and the first "episode" or two rocked. Then I stopped reading it, because of the whole pregnancy thing (and the finding virtual seasons weird, too thing), so I can't tell you anything more about it.
I agree on the weird thing, but it did seem like good writers. Mebbe I will read one or two, just to see.
