Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope so too, ita, but I am glad you are getting it checked out and thought to mention the ringing in your ears.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Adding salt is gross.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Adding salt is gross.

I agree. That website can't be right - it has a hideous white & colored text on black background style....

The truth? Totally is more stylish than that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In other completely random news, I think I might change my name if I were marrying a guy with an ethnic name that was clearly not my eth. I work sometimes with a white woman with an Indian last name, and it was so confusing to me for so long, I think that might be fun.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I married a Japanese guy, I think I'd change it. If I were marrying an Irish guy with a good hearty Irish name and we were living in Ireland, I might do it.

Otherwise, I already intermittently confuse people.

You're confusing anyway. I only confuse the people who think I'm a guy, like the lady at the credit card company the other day -- all of a sudden, she was like "Whose card IS this??" "Um, mine?"

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Whose card IS this??

"Well, I guess that would depend. Are you giving me more credit or demanding that I pay it back?"
