Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Spike's Bitches 23: We've mastered the power of positive giving up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

How Do I Play .wmv Files On My Mac??? question, and the easiest answer I know of is to just download Windows Media Player for Mac. Easy-peasy.

Tep, just FWI, I'm giving all of my clients your phone number.

In less pleasant news, we've just discovered that our landlord hasn't been paying the electric bills for awhile. A longish while. However long it takes to run up a $1300 balance.

I just found out the same thing today about my landlord and our gas bill. Really very uncool.

All is well that ends in pizza.

President Bush said yesterday that he was surprised by his administration's plans to require US citizens to show a passport when reentering the country from Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean ...

"When I first read that in the newspaper about the need to have passports, particularly the day crossings that take place, about a million for instance in the state of Texas, I said, 'What's going on here?' "

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That sucks, Aimee. I thought it had cleared up already.

I got to the airport just in time to be that superannoying person who gets on right as the doors are closing of the flight before mine, so I am back in LA, a couple of hours early, which is good because I think it's bed time soon.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ack! Poor Emma.

Also, auughh! Stupid taxes. After paying for the TurboTax thing, I found a site that looks to have free federal and state filing. Goddammit. Bye bye, thirty bucks. Also, I made a mistake on my state return which cost me about twenty bucks. But I think I can file an amended dealie. Stupid Michigan won't let me pay electronically, either, so I have to send a check tomorrow. I think that's how it works.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Woohoo for not ringworm!

Grr for stupid grant application that my client and I probably have an equal share in not getting done till the last minute. As in, it has to be postmarked tomorrow. I did send him the draft on Sunday, and I did outline carefully all the places where I need more info from him. But I know damn well he's busy and the artist-to-English translation process takes too long anyway. But still, I ask fairly simple questions, I really do. And I get vague to nonexistent answers. v. frustrating.
