Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

I don't know much beyond my vague recollection of the show on the radio, so I can't say much. I'll take your word for it. They did seem loopy, like so many loopy families I knew from meeting. But it is more the plethora of stuff happening there when I'm in the vicinity. And the need to run from my crazy planny fussy relatives.

planning new wardrobe around new jewelry

I'm tellin ya'...

Heh, at first I thought the Yay, Jen!'s were for the hair dying, and I was all, "Now, how'd they know how extensive the grey's gotten?" But then I remembered -- beach. Ooh, cabana boys. I wonder if I could import some. That'd be fun.

Time to rinse...

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday tommyrot!

Dinner with Kristin and the DCistas was fun, if noisy.

As for the rest of the weekend, I take the cat to the vet for her annual checkup tomorrow. Other than that, cleaning. whee.

Rio, have the bestest time on your honest-to-dog vacation. Sounds so cool. Kat keeps with the wanting to visit Costa Rica. Also, since I haven't posted much lately, CONGRATULATIONS on the bended knee and the thing and the big bling and everything. Whoot!

Are you ready to be strong?

Thank you, lori! I am really so happy. Even though I'm sick and had a terrible day at work today.

When I get back I'll send you and Kat info about the place, which I think is gonna be really cool. It has a yoga studio! And it's cheap!

P.S. You should really get Kat some bling. And vice versa.

So sorry for the sick and the horrible terrible no good very bad day. But VACATION! And I'm a lousy bling buyer. Our bling tends to look like flamingo-shaped christmas lights. And books.

Are you ready to be strong?

I'll tell you where to go for some nice bling.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The last day before vacation often sucks. I think it's just to make you more grateful to GET THE FUCK OUT OF THERE. But that might be just me t /still bitter

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, also, my parents rave about Costa Rica.

Are you ready to be strong?

Where in Costa Rica have they been? Do you know?

I fucked something up at work today in a terrible manner, but then a fucking bitch that I hate tried to get a bunch of other stuff that wasn't my fault blamed on me and it lasted all day and I cried. The end.
