Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

We may need help.

Migraine. Really really really bad one. Meds not helping. Having gone through a whole box of tissues, I don't think getting a cold is helping either. So frelling miserable.

I'm not even looking for sympathy, I'm just incredibly cranky. And wondering if I got a warranty on this body when I purchased. Or was it a lease?

Lease, Cass. But unlike a car, we can't trade it in every three years. We just take it to the body shop and get the dents bondoed every so often.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We've only bought one new car. Most of the time we've bought one-owner used vehicles and ran them until they won't go anymore. Our Honda Accord's been paid for for three years and looks to give us a few more good years, unless I can get DH to break down and trade it in for a minivan.

We drive too many miles to lease. We put an average of 22K miles on our cars per year, so the mileage charges would kill us.

Well I want to take this body into the shop and get a rental until it is fixed and all better. Maybe I could be blonde for a few days.

Art Crawl!!!

I liked this:

One of the other producers on the show likened reading the postings to getting hit with a tidal wave of love tempered by a million papercuts.

From Rob Marshall's message on TWOP.

My daughter and I decided I would go blonde when I hit 50. I can hardly wait.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

hmm. bleeding stopped. will keep elevated for now. stupid serrated henckel knife.
