How much do you normally consume?

Once I get into the office, it's 2 or 3 cups in the morning. I like to drink it in the evening as well, but normally don't because of the hassle.

There are tiny coffee makers. I have one. It makes max 4 cups, which is 2 mugs worth.

ita, a french press is on the consideration list, but isn't it more of a hassle because you actively have to participate in the making of the java?

I have a new computer! It's not from 1995! It's...NEW. And it has...a DVD-ROM...and a CD burner.

And I have at-home DSL, and a new space heater sitting at my feet like a puppy.

I'm, like, totally ready for world domination!

And I just colored my hair! And passed my portfolio review. And I have a new (to me) cellphone, thanks to my sister.

Ice storm predictions nonwithstanding, I'm pretty fucking pleased.

My take on the French press is that you have to have a Disposall in your sink -- to eat up the grinds. With a filter, you just take the whole shebang and throw it out; when the grinds are loose (or packed) into a glass, and you don't want to throw out the glass, that's some extra cleaning to deal with.

Moreso, when you just have a regular sink.

You could always get an old-fashioned percolator. Of course, I am told that makes coffee the equivalent of tar. I wouldn't know, since my coffee tastes are remarkably plebeian (and I smother my coffee with cream and sugar anyway).

It's my last semester of school! I student teach this semester (I start next week) and I grad in May with my 2nd MA. Go, team me. And I've lost 20 pound since this summer and did 12 loads of laundry in the last 4 days.

And I've started a new novel. And I got the new Writer's MArket for Xmas.

I'm all agog over myself.
