About to go squee my brains out in GWW, apropos of F2Fing. I got put in charge of the HS for the HWA convention and I'm cooking dinner for Peter Straub and his wife Saturday night.

I'm pissed, though. HIGG gave them a GINORMOUS hospitality suite, although it's $150 a night more.

Thanks, ND, but I think I'll just call and reserve a ticket when I get to the States this weekend. Their site seems to always be down in the times I can be online (which, since it's after midnight PST isn't a terrible surprise).

Argh. I thought I was done packing, but then there's all this Random Baby Stuff. I had accepted that I can no longer travel with just one carry-on, but one huge suitcase and two carryons should be enough, you'd think.

Good god. I ordered F2F swag on Wednesday afternoon/evening, and if UPS is to be believed, it's in Chicago and out for delivery as of this morning. (I used the second shipping option, ground, not the 2-day). Rock.
