The status is NOT quo.

Lilty, there is a shuttle that goes directly between the airport and the hotel for $26 round trip.

Also, many people will probably get there on Friday, no worries.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Oh, good. A shuttle makes things easy and getting-lost proof.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Lilty, there is a shuttle that goes directly between the airport and the hotel for $26 round trip.

And, just to let people know, the taxis to and from the airport charge $12-14 per extra passenger. ($28 for 1 or 2 people, $36 for 3, $48 for 4) So sharing a cab vs taking the shuttle doesn't save any money.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

It's crazy, but I really think I may come. I have enough saved in my popcorn bucket o' change to cover either my hotel or flight right now, and I know if I'm good I can save the rest by then and not charge it. Plus, going will fulfill a goal I set for myself this year.

So, I think I'm going to wait to make sure that a friend's wedding doesn't by some chance fall on that weekend, then, barring my car breaking down or me losing my job, I may book it.

Jumps up and down.

I'm not making any promises. But I knew I was more serious about it than I'd realized yesterday at work when someone returned a bag that had gone on like a 95% clearance and I thought "That will be perfect for sightseeing in NOLA!", then bought it for two dollars.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Oh! That reminds me... Erin, SA, if you ride down with me, how long were both of you planning to stay? My plan was definitely Friday - Sunday nights, but tacking on an extra night wouldn't be a problem if you both wanted to.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

must stumble across bag of money now

The first two things that came to mind: Richie Rich & the old game shows where they would stick a person, covered in honey, into a box and the person had to catch as much money as he/she could in a minute.

Ahhh, the good old days.
