You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

This isn't always sound advice though. I went to a Mexican restaurant with friends once and thought I'd be safe ordering the chicken, since "pollo" is one of about 5 words I know in Spanish. It came out coated in a chocolate sauce. Meat should not be served as a dessert.
