Well, we knew "Karma Chameleon" and "Wound-Up Penguin" were written after the other eleven episodes were to introduce/clear up issues for future storylines, and "Pink Flamingos" had a suspiciously great deal of continuity with "Wax Lion." It probably works better directly after the pilot.
I was going to say something, but then remembered that I defend Natural Born Killers as morally ambiguous.
